I work for the Medical Examiner of the county in which I live so I deal with death every day. All kinds of death. However, nothing has struck me as hard as what your loved ones must have gone through. I pray that the entire truth is someday found, and that it is shared with the world at least to avoid it ever happening again. I cannot begin to know your pain. Consequently I now have a far better understanding of the significance for those who fought in war together to get back together as a renewal of the close relationships forged under such circumstances. As a result of this memorial, the crew of the Kursk and their families have been in my thoughts and prayers. According to the Russian Orthodox Church worship soul flies to the Heaven on the 40th day after man's death. Let's pray for the brave Navy men souls who were lost in the tragic submarine disaster.
