This trip endured more than a year, and all that year I saw the sky and water only. We (Russians and Danish) prayed together for the sailors, trusting that, even though there are no more signs of life from the submarine, some people will be saved. I was deeply touched by reaction from the danish people, who did not play "the cold war" and did NOT regard this submarine as Soviet one, but a submarine where 50, 30 or at least 10 people can escape alive from! |

I’ve learned that once trapped inside the vessel it becomes your prison and often your grave. Compared to aircraft or other navy vessels submarines are the most dangerous to be on, because if anything happens there is very little that can be done. Right now Russian sailors inside Kursk are facing situation when nobody has been able to help (10 desperate attempts to open the escape hatches were maid, all unsuccessful). In the name of Jesus Christ I pray to the Father, the Creator of it all, to step in and do what humans cannot – SAVE THESE MEN. Father, please, hear our cry. We look up to heaven and ask for deliverance of those onboard Kursk. Only you can help. Give the wisdom to the rescuers to do the right things and not to lose heart when the last hope is gone. You will to be done Father, even if we don’t understand it. Let your Holy Spirit talk to those inside Kursk now and help them make peace with you. |
