Comments: Our hopes and prayers are for you the solders and families. We are a world apart and yet our hearts deeply cry out for our Russian brothers and sisters in the name of Jesus Christ. NO MATTER THE OUTCOME, rest and have peace that the Lord is in control. He is in control of all things great and small, and we are in His hands. May we pray that these sailors have decided to trust in Him. "Lean not on your own understanding". Lord, help us to understand that these things must be so. May we pray that the Lord be glorified in all things. Let us come to terms with the fact that many times You say no. For it is these trials which You use to bless us and draw us closer to You. I am looking forward to the day when we will all meet those whom You have called into eternity in heaven. Lord, might we recognize this incident as a catalyst for a greater purpose, "peace". Should it be so, let us rejoice when those who have survived speak of Your mercy. It shall also be, when every mother and father on the face of this planet grieves for the lost husbands, fathers, and sons, know that God understands our pain and let Him see that we are learning to love. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray for your peace.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.....Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever....May God surround these men and their families and friends in His loving arms and show to the world what a truly omnipotent and loving God He really is; and that even in tragedy, the world may find true peace and brotherhood.

As a new Century is dawning it it a reflection of the 'common' man that what matters most to us is that we are ALL human beings. The love, prayers and support of the American people is added to that of the people around the world. We too pray for the men on board as well as the friends and families who wait word of their condition. Blessings on you all.

Comments: To the men of the Kurst, and their families: We want you to know that there are MILLIONS of Americans here praying for you all... and watching the news, and the Web day and night - hoping for good news to come; and I'm sure millions all over the world feel the same. Leaders of governments and politics cause division, but we the people love and care about you as our own; and we are so sorry for the things that have happened to your men and your families this week. I pray all through the day for you. "Dear Lord Jesus, I lift these men and their loved ones up to You. I pray for Your peace and comfort to fill them and drive out the fear and panic. I pray that You would create new clean air for the men to breathe; and that You will cause them to be warm. I pray for success and protection during recue attempts; and that you will comfort those families who have lost their men. We know some have surely perished during the explosions. Lord, I ask You to make a way where there is no way. I love You, and the millions around the world look to You to intervene. You are the only hope we have; and we will praise You for saving them - both physically and spiritually. Thank you for hearing us..."

Comments: I hope that God hears the prayers of the good people who have signed these guestbooks, and He too hears the prayers of the good people who're trapped on that submarine. You have the world pulling for your safety. We're all hoping that the rescue efforts are successful, that you and your families are soon reunited on dry land. May the Lord bless you all, and help you to find whatever strength you need to carry on during the time of the tragedy.

In this time of suffering, fear, and sorrow, we feel the trembling of the heart, as we extend all our lovingkindness and compassion to them. The whole world watches, listens, waits, and prays for their safe return, as well as blessed comfort, rest, and peace for those who will not, or may not, return alive and safe. We will forever honor these brave men and their valour. May we all gather together in working for the day when we no longer place the brave and valiant in such peril because we live in fear, suspicion, and mistrust of each other, and make this world we share a place where people of one place no longer hold on to fear and anger for those of another place. May we honor the memory of the men of the Kursk, and all brave warriors who have made the ultimate sacrifice, in this way.

And react ferociously, when badly hurt. Proceed as God does, who never cries, or as the Devil does, who never prays, or as the great oak forest, which in all its might needs badly of water but won't show its plight. Let your head bite and shout, terribly, it must, even as it rolls over the dust. === I hope some of you are alive, hold on, be strong. The whole world is watching for you.

Comments: My heart truly aches for the men on board. I cannot imagine their fear and anxiety to want to be free and alive. God in his tender and most loving mercy is with each and every man on board. I pray earnestly that the Soviets will ask the United States to help as we have offered. SOVIET LEADER: Let every nation come with their expertise to free these men of God, this is NOT a time to be selective in choosing or limiting help. To the men below the sea and their families, I pray earnestly that these men are saved expediciously. Shame on the Soviet Leader for staying on vacation and losing four valuable days before taking action to save their lives. For shame.

Comments: I feel so sorry for the men that happened to be in that submarine. I think that it's the worst and most scary thing that could happen to anybody. Nobody would even want to imagine themselves in a situation like this. Basicaly, this is the situation where you know when you are going to die and you cannot do anything about it. There no way out. You cannot escape. But the horrifying part is that you have to wait...and you wait...for death. You actually WAIT for death. But you are not in a bed, in a warm house, with friends and family...you are under the cold deep sea with almost no air, no food, no light...no hope. I'm sorry to be saying all this, but I just cannot comprehend...cannot belive that someone has to go through this. For what??? I just want to say this...Why??? Why it happened? I just want to pray for them and their families and hope and pray that it never happens to no one anymore. It's so so sad...that nothing can be done.

Comments: we who challange the deepest seas often find solace knowing the lord has been the only other soul there. eternal hope, and a rescue effort until no ray of hope exists is the least we owe those who go to danger in our name. Remember the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost....Amen W Riley, RCN [ret'd}

Comments: This is such a ideal, thoughtful web site. I do hope and pray the families will each be able to have a copy so they can see how much their loved ones are thought of (as well as each and every family) from people ALL around the World at this time. Ever since we first saw it on the news Sunday it has been on our minds, hearts, and in our prayer for the men in the "Kursk" and all their families and loved ones. PEACE! The Hancocks in the USA
