Never, though did it become real to me until this accident. For the men on board I say a prayer of "God Speed" and for the families left behind I wish for them a measure of comfort and support from the tremendous outpouring of sympathy from around the world. These men will not be forgotten. Reading the emails helped. Thanks for the site to express our thoughts. |

Porche Website: Referred by: Just Surfed On In From: Hawaii Time: 2000-08-16 08:22:03 Comments: I ask all to spend a moment to ask God for deliverance of these men from the depths. Their death will not be valiant nor for their country as it is a tragedy of epic proportions as the global technology exists to prevent a terrible waste of life. God, please let the Russian Navy find a way to save their lives and if not, let the Russians know the U.S. Navy has a DSRV and a crew of men trained for this that can try and help. God, please let the Russians know this is not an act that will cause a loss of face for the Russians but rather save the brave valiant men aboard that sub in a desperate hour of need. I beg you to intervene and save them and us all, in a sense of building a new global community of people that care for another beyond politics and pride. Please save them all. |
